Mardi Himal Trekking is a short and easy trek, which allows you to discover the beauty of the Annapurna region. Mardi Himal is located east of Modi Khola, on the other side of the valley from Hiunchuli. The trek follows the less traveled track, away from the crowd, and offers a sense of exploration. The entire amazing Annapurna range is visible during the trek. The latter crosses forests of thick rhododendrons, a preserved land and takes you to 4100 m altitude in a few days of walking on the ridge that descends Machhapuchare peak (6993 m). The region is also known for its rich biodiversity and wildlife. Danphe (pheasant), Himalayan thar, masked deer, spotted deer, barking dear, snow leopard and many other wild animals of the Himalayas can be seen during a hike in the region.
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by bus (6h)
Day 03: Drive from Pokhara to Kande (1770m) and walk to Pothana (1890m) via Australian camp (4hrs)
Day 04: Trek from Pothana to Forest camp (2520m 5h)
Day 05: Trek from Forest camp to Low camp (2970m 4h)
Day 06: Trek from Low camp tow camp to High camp (3700m 6h)
Day 07: Hike to Mardi view point and descend to High camp for the lunch and trek to Low camp (6h)
Day 08: Trek from low camp to sidhing (1850m) and take a jeep from sidhing To Pokhara.
