The Gokyo Valley offers a magnificent view of the mountain peaks. First, you can see the Ngozumpa glacier, the largest in the Himalayas in Nepal. This mountainous region is one of the most popular in Nepal. You can see Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu at 8000 meters above sea level. The view of the ice ridge between Cho Oyu and Gyachung (2922 m) is remarkable.
After a thirty-five minute flight from Kathmandu and landing at Lukla, the adventure really begins. Then we spend the next few days hiking and talking with the mountain people, also known as Sherpa. Then we will stay in local lodges and walk through the heart of the villages. Along the way, we will pass by Buddhist monasteries with a view of Everest. We will have rest days in the villages of the Namche bazaar, this will allow us to explore the area and acclimatize, which is very important. Finally, after the trek to Gokyo Ri (5483 meters), we will quietly return to Namche and Lukla for our flight back to Kathmandu.
