Manaslu Region
More than a trek, this is a journey of discovery — into a quieter Nepal, where traditions are lived, cultures are shared and the Himalayas remain wonderfully authentic.
About Trekking in Manaslu Region
A journey into a Nepal that time forgot
Discover one of Nepal’s most fascinating Himalayan regions, where dramatic landscapes, ancient traditions and mountain life come together far from the crowds. The Manaslu and Tsum Valley trails take you through deep gorges, lush forests, high alpine valleys and remote villages beneath the majestic Mount Manaslu (8,163 m).
In Tsum Valley, the journey feels like travelling back in time. Traditional stone houses, ancient monasteries, prayer walls and centuries-old Buddhist traditions are still part of everyday life. The people, culture and rhythm of the valley have remained remarkably preserved, offering a rare glimpse into a way of life very different from modern Europe.
As the trail continues towards Manaslu, the landscape becomes increasingly dramatic, leading to Samagaon, spectacular mountain valleys and finally the challenging Larke Pass (5,106 m).
More than a trek, this is a journey of discovery — into a quieter Nepal, where traditions are lived, cultures are shared and the Himalayas remain wonderfully authentic.
