Annapurna Circuit trek is one of the most Panoramic and popular trekking destination in Nepal , offering
magnificent views of the Landscape and beautiful ranges of Annapurna II, III,IV, above 7000m and
Gangapurna Himal , Lamjung Himal + some famous peaks such as Chulu east and west + Pisang Peak ,
Tilicho Peak all above 6000m . We get also to witness the way of life of the Gurung people who migrated
from Tibet and whose enriching culture brings beauty to the region.
The trek will begin with lush vegetation following the Marsyangdi River. A remarkable panoramic view
will open to you and you will cross several suspension bridges. The breathtaking waterfalls at the start of
the trek will give way to the more deserted Mustang zone towards Murkinath and Jomson.
Located at a distance of 2 or 3 days from Manang, in the high places of the Annapurna region you will be
delighted by the great beauty of Lake Tilicho which nestles at 4920 m making it one of the highest lakes in
the world. We will Trek through Khangasar to Tilicho Peak Hotel, where you can enjoy a comforting meal
and spend the night. The next day we will trek for 3 hours to reach the Tilicho Base Camp (4100m). The
lowest path is the safest but has some landslide zones. From here we will have to trek for 3 hours to reach
the lake. This is the perfect environment for snow leopards and you will likely see blue sheep and yaks
On the return we will crossing Thorong La Pass which is a mountain pass with an elevation of 5,416
metres (17,769 ft) above sea level in central Nepal. Khatung Kang and Yakawa Kang are the mountains
forming Thorong La. The pass is located on a trail which connects the village of Manang in the Manang
District to the east, with the temple of Muktinath and the nearby village of Ranipauwa, in the Mustang
District to the west. Thorong La is the highest point on the Annapurna Circuit, a 300 km (190 mi) route
around the Annapurna mountain range
A beautiful memory well earned in Nepal after the pass.
